Sgriobskreeb

n. Refers to the peculiar itchiness that settles on the upper lip before taking a sip of whiskey. It's unavoidable, and usually a sign that things are about to get serious. Alcohol percentage has little to do with it—rather you can almost sense the generations of whiskey drinkers before you, sitting in dark, smoke-filled bars in the dim light before the dawn.
